Topic – Landscapes
JEFF GRIMM
Jeff Grimm, our judge for October, is a name familiar to everyone in our club. He has been a friend of our club for many years and has generously shared his time with us as a judge in our monthly competitions.
I asked Jeff for a short bio about himself for our website and this is what he sent me back. I think his own words say it best.
“My earliest memories of photography are of loving Fridays as a kid because that's the day that LIFE, the Saturday Evening Post, and LOOK arrived! LIFE's "Parting Shot" and "Miscellany" were what really turned me on. Today I teach photo at Trinity High where the students have won five state championships (the record) and finished in the top ten or twelve among colleges and universities every year since 1995.”
Jeff and his students are amongst our most reliable participants in our Hurst Library Show.
