Shoot
B&W or shoot color and turn into B&W or monochrome
using post-processing. This is a great topic to try
something new with your computer.

Sunset
Photo
taken at sunrise or at sunset.
Doesn’t have to be OF a sunrise/set.
April- Abstracts in
Nature
Colors,
shapes, close-ups, etc. Use your imagination.
Not to be confused with a 2011 topic of “Geometric Shapes
In Nature.”

June- Abandoned or
Discarded
Old
buildings are a possible but that’s a topic for next year,
so maybe you can find something else for this
theme.

Nightscapes
This
is not easy but you can do it.
It might take a tripod or a VERY fast lens or high ISO.
You figure it out and show us your best.

Rivers
We’re
halfway through Summer and must have taken a river picture
on some of our outings.
We have rivers all around us. Even a creek will
do.

Landscape
You
have a summer’s worth of shots to look through for that
great landscape shot.
November- Motion
Blur
Use
blur to add movement within the photograph.
